Download Quicktime 7.3.1

Download Quicktime 7.3.1. Apple has introduced an update to its QuickTime media player software to plug at least three security holes, including one that cyber criminals already are using to break into vulnerable systems.

The new version, QuickTime 7.3.1, is available for Mac and Windows. Mac users can grab the update via the built-in Software Update feature. Windows users who have QuickTime already installed can get the fixes using the Apple Software Update program that ships with QuickTime.

Xbox 360 32nm chips

IBM today announced that it will have 32nm chips to offer up to partners by the second half of 2009. Now, that’s noteworthy in and of itself, but it also means that Microsoft could be using the technology in a hardware revision of the Xbox 360.

We all know that any changes to the Registry or any system folders will not take effect until you either restart Windows, or refresh the desktop. But, restarting can be time consuming. If are busy with some other work you will have to close or save the work. So, here is a tip to refresh the desktop without restarting Windows XP. There are 3 ways to get this done.

  • Microsoft realeased HD Photo that will hopefully replace the JPEG standard overseen by the Joint Photographic Experts Group. Some of the advantages seen in this Plugin are the following :

    1. More efficient compression

    2. Rich in color

    3. Provides a wider dynamic range

    4. Store images without dataloss from compression

    5. It can run in camera hardware

    6. Supported file format called Windows Media Photo (built-in Windows Vista)
