Here is a video of a recent Bill Gates interview on CNN. It’s actually a very interesting video, where Bill Gates gives props to Google, aslong as Apple *gasp*. Also Bill Gates makes a small hint at a return to Microsoft.

So, the third commercial is out from Microsoft. I’m pretty sure that’s 3 in a span of three weeks. That’s a pretty hefty ad campaign, I’m not sure if I’ve quite seen anything like it.
With the latest ad, Microsoft has turned the computer world into political mudslinging. One said the other wasn’t doing something right, then the offended releases a commercial countering the first and trying to make them look pretentious at the same time.
The commercial is a much better attempt than the first two. It still doesn’t say anything about Microsoft’s products, but atleast it makes sense and has a message to say. Definitely needs more Eva Longoria though.

Well, that didn’t take long. It’s been all of a week, and we already have Microsoft’s second ad featuring the legendary comedian Jerry Seinfeld, and Bill Gates. It’s definitely not as bad as the first. Atleast this commercial was understandable, as being a spoof to the ‘The Simple Life’, who starred Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.
I’m not sure if Seinfeld is supposed to be Hilton, or what but either way it still failed to bring the laughs. Again, it’s still better than their first debacle at the shoe store. Maybe the third one will garner a smile. Ok, I’ll admit Bill Gates telling the bedtime story did make me smirk

So if you were watching the Giants/Redskins game last night, then you were privy to the first ever Jerry Seinfeld/Microsoft commercial. I’m still frozen in horror by what had to be the most ridiculous spectacle I’ve ever seen. I’m still not sure what the point of the whole commercial was, and I’m sure I don’t want to know.
Over half of the first installment of the Jerry Seinfeld/Microsoft series takes place in a shoe store, with a circus theme. Yes, you read that correctly. On top of that Bill Gates was buying shoes there, and Jerry Seinfeld walked in to help him make a purchase. What ensued had nothing to do with Microsoft products, and had a very creepy, uneasy feel to it. Kind of like dinner guests who make references to their love life; and ask you to join. I will give Bill Gates credit as he doesn’t mind a little self-deprecation. Hey, I thought he was supposed to retire? I guess commercials don’t count.
