USB devices have become more about aesthetics than actual usage these days. Probably the biggest evidence of that can be found in all the stylized USB hubs that seem to pop up everywhere. Gadget4all is banking on people’s love for fish…well fake fish that i.

The  USB Fish Tank 4-Port Hub + Magnetic Clip Holder is official name of the latest USB hub to find its’ way to an online store. So while at your desk you can stare depressingly at your hub wishing your desk was big enough for an actual fish tank. Atleast you can keep track of all the paper clips that always seem to go missing (just don’t get the ‘magnetic’ hub to close to your computer).

Some people have these things called “guilty pleasures”. I don’t really believe in that saying, I’m proud of all of my pleasures. One of those being the Hello Kitty franchise. She’s just so darn cute; how anyone can pass up the merchandise is beyond me.

In my bedroom everything matches. My Hello Kitty bedspread, my Hello Kitty wallpaper, and Hello Kitty pillow case all match perfectly. My freaking 20″ pitch black Pioneer television is the only thing throwing the room out of sync. Luckily, Uniden is to the rescue as they are releasing the Hello Kitty LCD TV.

The television isn’t out just yet, but will have a shipping date somewhere in mid-July. The television will be a 19″ screen (perfect size for my bedroom). The price tag is a little steep for a television this size ($650), but being Hello Kitty it will all be worth it.

I love the feeling of nostalgia. Nothing quite brings a smile to my face like thinking back on how things used to be done. Emails, no doubt have made it easier to contact each other, but aren’t really all that special to receive.

Not much work has to be put into an email. But when someone has to write out a message, you know it’s something special. ThinkGeek is selling notepads that feature email-esque information that you can write to others. So take some special time out during the day, and write a message and post it on someone’s cubicle. Trust me, they’ll feel special.
