If you’ve ever browsed through YouTube, then you’ve no doubt come across the Evolution of Dance video. Basically a man does a fast iteration of different dances throughout the years. His timing and fluidity is nothing short of amazing, but I think this robot gives him a run for his money. Even though Judson Laipply might be able to move his joints a little better than this robot, I think he gives him a run for his money.

I probably wouldn’t get a whole lot of use out of this device. There are maybe two things that can actually make me angry in this world, one being video games and when I can’t beat them, and the other being when UNC plays Duke (Go Heels). If I’m ever in a location where I can’t scream and shout, then this vase could come in handy.

I’m not sure why whoever in Japan created this, decided to make it the color of your average plunger. On top of that, the device actually is shaped like a plunger, so the color doesn’t help. Instead of this thing pulling out monstrous obstructions in your toilet, it turns your yells and screams into whispers. It’s as simple as yelling in one end, and the other end will come out soft and smooth. So keep this device handy at your desk when your boss needs you to stay later, or when the kids are throwing cereal bowls against walls. You’ll have to import it from Japan, but I’d say it’s worth it (maybe not for $79).

World records seem to have become as common as breathing. To add to the hype, it’s like Guinness will hand out a world record to anyone to boost interest. Well Mozilla is now a proud owner of one of those records.

Yesterday, Mozilla set the record for most downloads in a 24 hour period. The latest build of the underground, up-and-coming browser Firefox 3 had over 8 million downloads in the 24 hour span.

I’m not sure I would say congrats is in order. I mean I could theoretically create a world record right now. I hold the record for most times listening to St. Elmo’s fire whilst jumping on a pogo stick.
