On the heels of Google’s big release, ‘Chrome’ comes an app that has relatively flown under the radar. Google Moderator is neat little app, in which people can post questions they would like to have answered.

It sounds simple, which it is, but it’s one of those things where the more people that get involved the more effective it becomes. There are various topics to browser through on Moderator. Right now there’s only 5 featured ’series’ on the Welcome page.

Here’s a question I submitted for Barack Obama, and one I submitted for John McCain.

You should give it a try, it’s interesting to see all of the questions that people have for the candidates. I think it would go along way as well for the candidates to address some of these questions at a debate, or speech. Talk about ‘techno-savvy’.

When Quickbird passed over Chelyabinsk, Russia they were met with a big surprise. The plane that’s responsible for taking pictures for Google maps, were met with a big smiley face from Chelyabinsk. The town was able to calculate when Google’s Quickbird would passover; and had a rock concert prepared so there were enough people in the right spot. All of the concert go’ers were given yellow capes, which was enough to present a giant smiley face to the plane.

I love this, I think this could go along way to elleviate international problems. I think we should get a concert out somewhere in America that the Quickbird hasn’t gone. Then we should have the crowd spell out, “I <3 Russia”

There haven’t been any huge add-ons release for Google Chrome as of yet. There is one pretty cool program in which you can change the theme of Google Chrome. You will need XChrome , which installs the themes for you. There have been a few themes already released for Google Chrome:

Boston Red Sox Chrome Theme

FireFox Theme

Galaxy Theme
