Microsoft released a pretty cool design at the D5 conference last year. This was called the Microsoft Surface, which is a table top computer that recognizes fingertip movements. It wasn’t until this week that a game would be available for Surface. Meet Firefly, the first announced game for the table top computer. The premise of the game is gathering fireflies; gathering the fireflies will be done by using your fingers to “net” them to your side of the table. Here is a video to give you an idea of what the game is trying to accomplish:

IBM today announced that it will have 32nm chips to offer up to partners by the second half of 2009. Now, that’s noteworthy in and of itself, but it also means that Microsoft could be using the technology in a hardware revision of the Xbox 360.
