If there’s one thing in life that I can say I pretty much know absolutely nothing about, it’s trying to get pregnant. Terms like cervical mucus, body basal temperature, both sound like terms that belong in some kind of science fiction movie. But if you’re in need of trying to get pregnant, those are two apparent key terms to keep an eye on.
DuoFertility, has created a device that could make the act of getting pregnant a little easier. Here are few selling points, provided by DuoFertility:
“DuoFertility continuously monitors your cycle and detects when you are ovulating, so you can get on with the rest of your life. ”
“DuoFertility displays your fertility status for the next six days so you and your partner can be in full control of your own fertility.”
I wont get into the hairy details, but here’s one of the important information pages. I really don’t see how the device could make anything easier, as the symbols on it look like something from a zodiac chart. But they are taking human trials right now to test the device, so sign up and get that oven cookin’.

In today’s world it’s easy to get busy. You have bills, a job, dinner, and American Idol to distract you from keeping an eye on your kids. Luckily, DVO.com is selling a device that can help with one of the important aspects of parenting: controlling their electronic devices.
The Hopscotch TV timer is a device that can control the amount of time an electrical powered device can be used. The setup is pretty easy and intuitive. First, you plug your device into the timer, then plug the timer into the outlet. Once everything is plugged in, you set the timer and when it goes off the device shuts down. You can set it to be unusable for the rest of day or even a week. The Hopscotch Timer comes with a lock and key, so your kids can’t disable it. It also comes with a master-pin code, so you can turn the device back on when you wish.
For people like me, who spend way too much time gaming this device could work. The only problem is I would have to make myself forget where I put the key. Then create a puzzle game for making myself figure out where I hid it.
The timer is a little on the expensive side at $79.95. But if you’re in dire need of getting a handle on your kids, your purchase can be made here.

The daily morning routine can sometimes end in disaster. When you first wake up, you’re not exactly at your brightest. Stepping into a cold shower can be one of those disasters. Thankfully, the guys over at ThinkGeek have a device on sale that will remedy the cold shower problem.
The LED shower light not only can light up your bathroom, it also detects water temperature. So when you venture into your bathroom in the morning, don’t even bother turning on the lights, just start up your shower water. When the water is cold, the LED shower head will radiate blue. Once, the water reaches a certain temperature (89° F), the shower head will turn red. While red means stop in most places, hop on in when you see your bathroom bathed in crimson. The shower head sits at a pretty decent price of $39.99.
