Moving things with your mind is probably one of the coolest ideas every. Telekinesis is one of the super powers that I would most definitely want, and with NeuroSky’s advancements we’re almost there. What NeuroSky does is develop technologies based around bio-signal information, brainwaves, and neurons. They have created devices that can send out your brainwaves and use them to control various robots and programs. Here is video of one of NeuroSky’s headsets in action.

For those of you who are lonlely, sitting in your mom’s basement desiring the company of the female sex have no fear. Femisapien is here. For the first time ever, the Femisapien robot is on sale. Ever since viewing the video I will provide in just a moment, I’ve been keeping up with Femisapien news. Not because I’m going to get one (maybe), but because the technology behind the Femisapien is pretty cool.
Femisapien is able to speak, but not in english but with melodic humming. Think The Sims. She’ll (it) will be able to respond with various lines of dialogue. Or you can just make her shut up altogether (married guys?..anyone…j/k’ing ladies). She also has sensors so she will automatically be able to execute some of her maneuvers with a swipe of the hand in front of her face. Here’s the video review from RobotsRule.com showing off some stuff she can do.

I’ve always wanted one of the light boxes you see ominous bad guys carrying into dungeons. You know the kind, that has the handle on top and hangs in front of you. Well according to SourcingMap.com, I can realize that dream. The device is illuminated by 17 led lights under a glass fixture.
Check this video out to see it in action:

In the technology world, small = bigger, and less (somtimes) = more. You want your DVDs to play on the smallest possible platform necessary. For discs of its size, it doesn’t get any smaller than the Walkman. The device is crafted to only fit a disc inside of it and nothing else. This video shows off a DVD/MP4/DivX player that looks exactly like a Walkman. It seems to have all the pieces of a regular portable DVD player, only it’s the smallest one on the market. I’m a bit skeptical of the device, as it doesn’t have a brand name for a manufacturer. Here’s the video though, so you can make the judgement for yourself.
