So if you were watching the Giants/Redskins game last night, then you were privy to the first ever Jerry Seinfeld/Microsoft commercial. I’m still frozen in horror by what had to be the most ridiculous spectacle I’ve ever seen. I’m still not sure what the point of the whole commercial was, and I’m sure I don’t want to know.

Over half of the first installment of the Jerry Seinfeld/Microsoft series takes place in a shoe store, with a circus theme. Yes, you read that correctly. On top of that Bill Gates was buying shoes there, and Jerry Seinfeld walked in to help him make a purchase. What ensued had nothing to do with Microsoft products, and had a very creepy, uneasy feel to it. Kind of like dinner guests who make references to their love life; and ask you to join. I will give Bill Gates credit as he doesn’t mind a little self-deprecation. Hey, I thought he was supposed to retire? I guess commercials don’t count.
