It’s been news for awhile now that the Playstation Store would be receiving an interface overhaul. The interface will change from a web based store, to a software based store. This will increase performance, and overall customer satisfaction.

There is some bad news about the overhaul. For about two weeks, no content will be added to the store, which will give the developers time to get the store switched over. So expect to see a firmware update in the near future when the new Playstation Store launches.
