How to Use Nokia N73 as a Barcode Reader

It is a basic freeware barcode reader. A barcode may contain informations like phone numbers, expiry date, URL links, e-mail addresses etc. Some may contain more informations. It is depended on the barcode. It can be installed using Nokia PC Suite or by bluetooth. Once installed, you can activate it by Menu - > Applications - > Barcode.

Open your camera lens cover and the application will start scanning. There will be two red line. Place the barcode in between those lines for a successful read. If the surface is glossy, it is very hard to read as the flash get reflected. Informations can be saved for future growth. Please make use of the screenshots below.
