Extend Firefox 2 Contest

Extend Firefox is a developer contest to encourage development and innovation in Web experience through add-ons to Firefox 2 . Do you think you got the guts to create a Firefox Add-on make everyday life for millions of people around the world easier ? Then this task should be for you.

Contest Details 

 This contest will run until December 31st , 2007 and winners will be announced on or about January 15th, 2008.. A panel of judges will award three Grand Prizes and twelve Runner-up Prizes based upon excellence in user experience, innovativeness, and use of open standards.

Prizes

  1. Three Grand Prizes winners will get a Ultimate Firefox Developer Kit , travel & accommodation to a Mozilla Developer Day anywhere in the world (winners choice) , Development gear, including a brand new 15″ Macbook Prowith VMware Fusion and ActiveState Komodo, 1 Year Unlimited Access subscription to O’Reilly’s Safari Library  , Firefox Ogio Messenger Bagstuffed with t-shirts, books, stickers, mugs etc .
  2. Twelve Runner-Up Prize winners will recieve a Firefox Pack , Firefox Ogio Messenger Bagstuffed with t-shirts, books, stickers, ActiveState Komodo, mug, and t-shirt , A $200 Gift Certificate for O’Reilly Books
  3. All qualified entrants will not be empty handed, a Limited Edition Extend Firefox T-Shirt for them .
